Famous People Celebrate Under The Influence Of The Time's 100 |
| Last night Time hosted a party to honor it's 2008 100 Most Influential People, based on the magazine issue released on Saturday. The event was held at the Time Warner Building in New York.
Lots of celebs were in attendance, although not all of the honored entertainers were present. Tina Fey has been everywhere lately, including the Time list, and not just because of her movie Babymama with Amy Poehler, who also attended the event.
I always loved Amy, but after she announced that she was pregnant before we ever saw even an inkling of a baby bump it made me really appreciate her. Hopefully that will influence some of the people in Hollywood to get over themselves and spill the beans so we don't have to offend the other half that just ate a big meal.
Ethan Hawke looked confused as to why he got an invite to such an event, and Angelica Huston looked like I remember her in that Roald Dahl movie The Witches , but glam nonetheless.

Hilary Duff Shows Off The Man |
| Hilary Duff strut her stuff at Allure magazine's photo exhibition and silent auction on Wednesday night. Here she is being escorted by her hockey player boyfriend , Mike Comrie . He cleans up well. His head is as big as mine, so James Van Der Beek and I know his pain. The three of us should take our enormous melons out for beers and perhaps we can persuade the hockey player to lose clothing. Hockey players are hot as long as they manage to hold onto the teeth.
The event was to benefit skin cancer research and ties in with Hil appearing on the cover of Allure 's May issue. Inside, celebs such as Angie Harmon, Gabrielle Union, Jill Scott, and Ana Ortiz pose nude.
Hilary recently verified that she is "not engaged!" Yes, there was an exclamation point. Settle down, Chiclets! I hope Katherine McPhee finds work soon. She's far too pretty not to.

Pete Wentz And Ashlee Simpson Rushing To The Altar? |
| Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz might be getting married next week. Do I hear the cocking of a shotgun? Reports say that the flailing songstress and her faux emo boy might be getting married as early as May 16.
"The location will not be revealed until the day of the wedding but guests are told it will be an hour drive from Los Angeles," says a source.
Ashlee is currently playing coy with the media as to whether or not she's pregnant. A pregnancy could very well be a reason for all the hurrying around. Then again, her new album just came and went and maybe she needs the distraction of a honeymoon and picking out china.
The same reports state that Jessica Simpson has also gotten engaged to her boyfriend, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo. She's allegedly jealous that her little sister is pregnant and getting married before her. I totally buy the jealous part, but if Jessica Simpson were engaged she would be running down the street flashing the ring at everyone and screaming her head off. What else does she have to live for?
